This weekend at Christ Chapel it is Back to School Sunday! We are looking forward to this weekends message by guest Speaker Pastor Jamie Lane, about “Raising a Generation of Faith.” We’ll look at Deuteronomy 6:4–9 and God’s call for families to intentionally pass their faith on to the next generation. Our children are not simply people we are raising—they are a generation we are preparing.
From the limited window we have with our children to the importance of modeling faith in our everyday lives, this message will challenge parents, grandparents, teachers, mentors, and our entire church family to consider the spiritual legacy we are leaving behind. We’ll be reminded that God doesn’t require perfect parents or perfect people—He calls us to be faithful, available, and intentional in pointing the next generation toward Him.
This Sunday, we’ll pray over our parents, teachers, and students as they begin a new school year, asking God to guide, protect, and strengthen them.
