Our Couples LifeGroup Is a Great Place To Build Community
Couples for Christ is a dynamic, biblically based study of marriage and principles that can improve and enhance marriages, give couples tools to navigate the trials of life, and strive for oneness in marriage. While the group focuses on studies to grow their marriages they also participate in fun-filled activities to grow together and bond with other Christian couples.
The objective of Couples for Christ is to teach and equip couples with biblical principles and values that will sustain a lifetime of marriage and create a long lasting Christ-centered family.
Now Studying: The Art of Marriage
Every marriage has its strengths and its stresses. There’s not one that can’t be improved, fine-tuned, made stronger—or even overhauled—if needed. In this six-session series made in partnership with FamilyLife, discover a transformative marriage resource designed to help you explore new levels of intimacy, communication, and connection with your spouse. Whether you’re a newlywed or have been married for decades, this series can be your path to a stronger, more beautiful masterpiece of God’s handiwork.
Make Plans to Attend K.i.S.s. Seminar on August 17th
“KISS 2 Bliss” is a half-day event that will be centered around creating more intimacy in marriage as we focus on improving our marriage to please and honor God. Their session will include a 5-day challenge where the couples are encouraged to answer a series of questions about their marriage and finish their chat with a 10-second kiss!
Our guest speaker is Dr. Johnny Parker, who has authored multiple books, and he and his wife offer a course for married couples, “KISS 2 Bliss,” based upon their book “KISS – Keeping Intimacy Sweet & Simple”. In addition to this book, he has also authored “Renovating Your Marriage Room by Room”. This group study will be offered following the event through the Couples for Christ Lifegroups!
The registration fee is $50 per couple and includes a light breakfast and lunch. In addition to the guest speaker, we will also include Christian comedians.
