A message from the series “Reflections.” This week at Christ Chapel, Pastor Joe brings a powerful message titled Return on Investment. In a world where we expect results from everything we give, Jesus shows us a radically different kind of love—one that isn’t based on return, but on faithfulness. Even knowing betrayal, denial, and abandonment were ahead, He chose to love to the very end (John 13:1). Join us as we explore what it means to live out a love that reflects God’s heart—unconditional, sacrificial, and eternal.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble.” John 16:33
In a world marked by tension, uncertainty, and deep human need, much like the days of Jesus, His words speak both honesty and hope: trouble is real, but so is His victory. Jesus does not deny pain or instability; instead, He calls us to “take heart,” grounding our confidence in His finished work on the cross and in the resurrection, where He conquered sin, death, and every opposing power.
As we move toward Easter, we are invited to see beyond crisis through the lens of the cross, remembering that darkness never has the final word. True hope is found in the person of Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to stand firm, live with peace, and become carriers of hope.

A message from the series “Reflect Forward.” February is an important moment in the year—a time when God invites us to realign our hearts and renew our focus before the year moves any further. As we move deeper into the year, our own Bruce Thomas will deliver a message that will encourage us to recognize the new work God is doing in the next season—both in our individual lives and within Christ Chapel as a church family. Together, we will be challenged to realign our focus, elevate our faith, and step forward together with expectancy and obedience as we embrace what God is preparing ahead.
